Homeland Security Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:
As an Intelligence Analyst supporting our federal government client, you will be trusted to provide programmatic and business operations professional services that support rapid development and delivery of innovative solutions that enhance and positively impact strategic and current mission execution with technically sound, innovative solutions and independent analysis.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Gather, analyze, and evaluate information from diverse sources, including open-source intelligence, classified data, and human intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify and track potential threats, risks, and emerging trends
- Provide timely and accurate assessments of intelligence data
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal and external partners to share intelligence and contribute to assessments, reports, and summaries
- Prepare concise and well-documented intelligence reports for dissemination to relevant stakeholders
- Communicate findings effectively, ensuring information is presented in a clear and understandable manner
- Deliver intelligence briefings to internal and external audiences, as requested
- Provide insights and recommendations based on intelligence analysis
- Be knowledgeable of unique DHS data and identify ways to integrate new datasets into the analysis
- Oversee daily operations and provide assistance in managing a client Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
- Expertly coordinate classified meetings and conference calls, including scheduling with various stakeholders, reserving conference rooms, and overseeing external-facing meetings
- Maintain strong working relationships with other intelligence professionals and relevant entities
- Participate in collaborative discussions and forums
- Contribute to the development and distribution of high-quality correspondence, briefings, spreadsheets, and schedules using the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant tools
- Ensure that the written communication produced by the office is constantly of the highest standard, appropriately formatted, easily comprehensible, concise, and highly relevant
Location:
You will work as part of a dynamic team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid opportunity that may require you to come on-site up to three times a week.
Required Experience/Skills:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 3 -7 years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated understanding of Intelligence Community analytic tradecraft and principles of analytic writing
- Strong proficiency in creating and disseminating high-quality documents, such as correspondence, briefings, spreadsheets, and schedules
- An active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with intelligence analysis in a homeland security context
- Experience overseeing daily operations and providing support for a SCIF
