About the Role:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a great attitude, a keen eye for compliance, be flexible, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to lead the contract administration of Corner Alliance’s client engagements with a strong commitment to risk mitigation and management. The Contract Manager will independently execute complex tasks requiring expertise in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), contract law, and company policies. Key responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating contracts (NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and prime contracts) to ensure compliance, legality, and alignment with business goals. The position supports business growth by providing competitive data, pricing strategies, and compliance guidance, while maintaining CMMI and ISO certification standards. The Contract Manager collaborates closely with the consulting delivery teams, our sales team, contract partners, as well as Contract Officers across our client engagements to achieve results. 

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Demonstrate a proactive, organized, detail-oriented contract management approach for the firm’s client engagements.
  • Regularly and independently complete complex tasks reliant upon a deep understanding of the FAR, additional applicable regulations, contract laws, and company policy and procedures.
  • Negotiate all aspects of contracts/agreements and review contractual documents for compliance and legal adequacy prior to execution, including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, and prime contracts.
  • Compose and manage corporate contract boilerplate templates.
  • Participate in business growth activities, providing competitive contractual data along with guidance on compliance, eligibility to propose, economic analysis, and pricing.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals for price reasonableness; establish a negotiation position; independently negotiate; award and administer subcontracts and task orders.
  • Review scopes of work and performance work statements for adequacy.
  • Review solicitations and contractual documentation and lead the development and management of business/price proposal volumes to address solicitation requirements, and mitigate risk consistent with sound business practices, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Maintain all required contractual and proposal/business volume documentation.
  • Assist with and compose proposal volumes for Government contracts and subcontracts for cost/price, management, and past performance.
  • Manage review/compliance activities, such as GSA and DCAA requirements.
  • Review proposal submissions for contractual adherence throughout the proposal process and prior to submitting final proposals.
  • Develop and manage procurement system/process for maximum speed and throughput.
  • Actively engage with the Director of Consulting, account management, and project management to understand the context of client engagements to better inform all contract analysis and risk mitigation efforts. 
  • Identify to stakeholders contractual and/or RFP/RFQ terms that pose risk to the company and resolve/implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide oversight and resolve contractual issues that may arise in the performance of the contract, with a focus on mitigating Corner Alliance’s risk while meeting the customer’s needs.
  • Handle multiple priority tasks and proposals effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external clients; participate in client meetings as required.
  • Coordinate reporting and communication with Contracting Officers on awarded contracts.
  • Ensure CMMI and ISO certification compliance related to contract management and administration.

Location:

Remote with Eastern Time zone business hours. 

Required Experience/Skills: 

  • 8+ years of experience in contracts management, with experience supporting Federal contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of the FAR, DFARs, and other agency supplements.
  • Experiential understanding of stand-alone, BOA, BPA, IDIQ, and MAS contracts.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build collaborative business relationships both internal to the company and with external customers.
  • Ability to negotiate professionally and independently.
  • Demonstrated Federal contract portfolio of 20+ engagements. 
  • Demonstrated high adoption of automation and AI strategies specific to Contract Management
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal skills and be exceptionally detail oriented.
  • US citizenship.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Familiarity with GSA MAS and OASIS/OASIS+ and GWACs such as Polaris.
  • DCAA/DCMA requirements and reporting.
  • Experience with Joint Venture Agreements.
  • Experience with Unanet, Smartsheets, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM).

Salary:

Approximate Salary Estimate: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually
